Standard scanner apps only dump messy, unformatted text that you still have to copy-paste one by one. Traditional card scanner apps only handle single business cards, not full lists or tables. Doc2Contact specifically bridges this gap: it extracts structured names and numbers from full sheets, PDFs, and spreadsheets, normalizes the phone codes, and lets you bulk save them directly into your device contacts or share them via WhatsApp in a single tap. 🔄 How our approach evolved: When I first built the prototype, standard OCR kept failing on phone numbers—confusing 'O' with '0' or 'l' with '1'. I spent weeks engineering a smart phone-repair and parsing pipeline with AI assistance that recognizes digit lookalikes, pairs names with phone numbers reliably, and validates numbers across international formats.
