We built SafePrompt because AI adoption is moving faster than data-protection policies. Employees use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and other AI tools every day — but a single prompt can accidentally contain a password, API key, customer PII, source code or trade secret. SafePrompt puts a protection layer directly on the endpoint. It detects sensitive information locally and can block it before it reaches the AI service. Our goal is simple: let people use AI without having to choose between productivity and data privacy. SafePrompt is open source, and we'd love feedback from the Product Hunt community.
