I've watched friends record a great conversation and then lose a whole weekend to cleaning it up. That's the only problem Cast solves: you edit the episode as text, the audio follows; the 'ums' and dead air go in one click; the music we generate for the episode ducks under your voice on its own and re-computes when you move it; export writes the platform's loudness for you.
