Hi Product Hunt, I’m Michael. I made YapWorld. Quick context: I taught myself to code to build this. I don’t come from tech. I started after I lost someone I love to an illness that should’ve been caught early. The signs were there for months and nobody connected them. I couldn’t let that go. Here’s my issue with the current setup. Your watch or ring already collects thousands of data points a day, sleep, HRV, recovery, stress. Then it hands you a dashboard and a recovery score and basically says “good luck.” There is no explanation, guidance or ability to talk to your data. Meanwhile AI chatbots can help productivity, they listen, sort of remember, talk back, but changes nothing about your actual day. YapWorld sits in the middle and does the part everyone skips. It reads your biometrics from the watch or ring you already own (Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, Yap Health Ring etc..), it reads how you talk and what’s going on in your life, and it builds a real model of you that gets sharper the longer you use it. Then it acts on it. Three bad nights of sleep before a heavy week? It moves your morning, tells you to ease off the caffeine, writes the email you’ve been dreading, and if something genuinely looks wrong it pulls in a real person. Under the hood it’s a genuine agentic backend, not a prompt wrapper. Two things I care about that the companion apps don’t. First, it’s a Pal, not a replacement for people. It’s built to give you your life back, not keep you in the app, so we measure time saved, not time spent. Second, it remembers like a person does. It keeps what matters and lets the rest fade instead of resetting every session. They watch. Yap acts. That’s the whole pitch. Love the concept of having a persistent agent that actually does stuff instead of just chatting. One thing I’d love to see is a quick daily debrief from my Pal, like a 30 second morning rundown of how I slept and what to actually focus on today. Right now I’m not sure if I’d notice the agent working in the background unless something obvious happens, so a small proactive check-in would make it feel more like a real companion.

The anime Pal actually grew on me by day two, weirdly calming when my Oura scores tanked. Voice mode still feels a touch laggy, but having it quietly reshuffle my calendar without being asked is the kind of helpful I didn't know I needed.
