👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Marcos, the creator of Kravn. Over the last few years, I watched companies adopt AI incredibly fast. But there was one problem that kept coming up. Most AI platforms are SaaS-first. As organizations integrate AI into their workflows, they gradually lose visibility and control over what information reaches the model, where their tools live, and how access is governed. For some companies, that's acceptable. For organizations operating in regulated industries—or simply those that want to keep their infrastructure under their own control—it becomes a real blocker. I also noticed that many self-hosted alternatives solve the deployment problem but not the enterprise problem. They rarely integrate well with corporate identity, SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, or the governance capabilities that large organizations expect. So I started building Kravn during evenings and weekends. Kravn is a self-hosted Enterprise MCP Gateway that lets organizations adopt the Model Context Protocol (MCP) inside their own infrastructure. The principles behind it are simple: 🔒 What should stay inside your organization stays inside. Kravn runs entirely on your infrastructure and connects directly to your internal systems. 🛡️ What leaves your organization is governed. Secrets and PII can be redacted, prompt injection attempts can be blocked, every request is auditable, and organizations remain in control of how AI interacts with their data. Everything integrates with your existing identity stack (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC and Teams), and deployment is intentionally simple. Kravn is source-available because I believe security infrastructure should be transparent and auditable. This is only the beginning, and I'd genuinely love to hear your feedback. Took it for a spin on a test cluster and the SSO setup was painless, plus it's nice seeing the MCP traffic stay inside the network instead of bouncing to some external proxy. Curious how it handles auth for a large batch of internal tools though.

Spent an afternoon poking at it on a staging box and was surprised how clean the SSO + RBAC setup was, took maybe ten minutes to get going. Nice to see an MCP gateway that actually feels built for on-prem rather than bolted on.

Congrats on shipping Kravn. For teams rolling this out, having a built-in audit log viewer with filters by user, tool, and time would save a ton of compliance headaches. Maybe pair it with CSV export so security teams can pipe it into their existing SIEM without extra glue code.

self hosted MCP gateway with proper RBAC is honestly so needed, finally someone is taking this seriously. one thing though, can you add granular audit logging per tool call so admins can actually see which models are touching which data. that would make the security pitch way stronger for enterprise buyers

finally someone tackling MCP for actual enterprise use cases with self-hosting and proper auth controls, the SCIM and RBAC baked in right out of the gate shows they get what IT teams actually need
