Most photo cleaners just find duplicates or sort by date. PhotoSlimmer looks for the photos you'd actually want to delete, like the blurry ones, the shaky ones, and the ones where someone blinked. It all runs on your iPhone, so nothing gets uploaded and no data is collected. It shows you the candidates and you decide what to keep.

Quick update for everyone who checked out PhotoSlimmer at launch, thank you. The thing I heard most was that people felt nervous actually deleting. You'd spot a blurry shot, but you couldn't tell if it was the only photo of that moment or just one bad frame out of several, so you'd hesitate.
So that's what v1.2 fixes. When you review a photo now, it shows the shots taken around the same time right next to it. You can see at a glance whether there's a sharper version before you decide. Less second-guessing, faster cleanup.
Everything still runs on your device. Nothing gets uploaded, there's no account, and the app only surfaces candidates. You're always the one who decides what stays.
Would love to know if this makes deleting feel less scary. I'm still building based on what people actually tell me here.
