Finally a schematic tool that does not feel like it was built in 2003. Searched for a tricky buck regulator part and it pulled up symbols and pinouts instantly.

@ark_y_k ProtoFlow reads the actual manufacturer datasheet, especially package drawings and recommended land patterns, to generate footprints using IPC-7351B conventions. It cross-checks dimensions and pin mappings, but you should still verify the result against the datasheet before fabrication.

the datasheet-grounded footprint generation answer above is a good sign, most tools in this space cut corners there. curious about the multiplayer side instead: if two people on a team are editing the same schematic at once and one of them touches a net the other just wired up, does the tool merge those changes live, or is it more like a lock where only one person can be editing a given section at a time?
The KiCad export has been a lifesaver for getting quick prototypes going. One thing that would help a lot is adding a built-in ERC check before export so I can catch unconnected pins or power mismatches right in the schematic view instead of hunting them down later in KiCad.
the universal component search alone is worth it, found parts way faster than digging through digikey. exporting to kicad worked smoothly for me too
