Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the founder of Lift App.
I built this as an athlete myself. My main sport is basketball, and everything I do in the gym is focused on running faster, jumping higher, and getting stronger. That means training for power, quickness, and strength. But no app could actually tell me if my training was moving the needle on those things.
I wanted to track more than just reps and weights. I wanted to understand my bar path, my biomechanics, my power output — the stuff that actually translates to performance on the court. That obsession led to Lift App.
We built this for ourselves as much as anyone else — so every feature is driven by what we actually needed in our own training.
Computer vision and pose estimation analyze your movement and biomechanics. Apple Watch captures real-time heart rate and accelerometer data. Body stats, a personalized Lift Score, and a Power Score — calculated from your vertical jump and weightlifting metrics — benchmark your strength and explosiveness against real standards. We just shipped v1.0.5 with some major new features:
🏋️ Olympic Lift Analysis — Clean, Clean & Jerk, and Snatch now have full phase-by-phase breakdowns (First Pull → Transition → Second Pull → Catch → Recovery). Each phase timed with peak velocity and height gain.
💬 AI Form Coaching Cues — Real-time coaching cues anchored to your joints during video playback. Green for good form, yellow for tips, red for corrections. Data-driven from your actual pose data. Works for 8 exercises.
📊 Lift Score — Every set and rep scored 0–100 with an interactive radar chart across Movement, Form, Power, Consistency, and Strength.
