I built ScrutinyAI because I kept running into situations where ChatGPT gave me confident-sounding answers that turned out to be wrong or misleading.
The idea is simple: **use a different AI (Claude) to cross-check ChatGPT's claims.** Instead of just saying "right" or "wrong," ScrutinyAI extracts individual claims and assigns risk levels (High / Medium / Low / Info) so you know exactly what to double-check.
### How it works:
1. Select text from any ChatGPT response
2. Click the 🔍 button (or right-click → Verify)
3. See claim-by-claim risk assessment in the side panel
### Why a different AI?
Single-model verification has blind spots. By using Claude to check ChatGPT, you get a genuine second opinion — different training data, different reasoning patterns.
