I built NegotiRate after watching one of my mates, who blew up as a CoD streamer during Covid, get repeatedly lowballed on brand deals.
He had brands in his inbox, decent audience, strong engagement, and still no real way to know if an offer was fair. So every deal became the same question:
Take it and hope it's decent, or push back and risk losing it?
That's the problem.
Brands do this all the time. Most creators don't.
When we built NegotiRate, we analysed brand deal data across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to set the benchmarks. What we found was pretty grim the average UK creator is being underpaid by 47%, which works out at roughly £850 left on the table per deal. And 68% never counter-offer, mostly because they don't know if they should.
So we built something to fix that.
You put in your stats and the offer, and it tells you if the deal looks light, roughly how far off it is, and what you could realistically go back with. It looks at platform, audience size, views, engagement, niche audience value, deliverables and usage terms because those are the things that actually move the number.
