I’ve always been fascinated by trading and the markets. With the rapid rise of AI, I wanted to explore a simple question: can AI actually beat the markets? Traditional hedge funds move slowly and are often hesitant to embrace new technology. At AlphaOne, we’re taking a different path — fully embracing AI, not just to trade, but to make these tools and insights available to everyone. Retail traders face a tough challenge: they have to watch markets constantly, trade on emotion, and operate at a data disadvantage. There’s no systematic approach — until now. Our first product is Trade Structures — a system that helps identify stocks poised for movement and potential trade setups. The goal isn’t to tell you what to trade, but to give you the same data and signals we use to make our own decisions. What started as a project to bring better tools and data to retail traders has evolved into something much bigger — experimenting with AI to actively manage money and validate its performance in real markets.
