I started this product as I couldn't find anything similar to my needs in starting to learn bagpipes. The "Green Book" just wasn't doing it for me and as anyone knows, learning bagpipes is not god for one's marriage as you sound like a bag of drowning cats for a while. I used it to learn piping myself, focussing on neuroplasticity in the games rather than just rote memorization. This worked well and also allows the user to play "silently" with an audio-in cable from a digital chanter or digital bagpipes. Once you get the fingering down and can actually follow sheet music, it's a miraculous transformation. The sheet music feature is pretty cool with speed controls so you can follow the hilited note. The audio simulator is OK. I have a few under development that sound better. The AI sheet music generator is, shall we say, controversial in the very traditional community. I added in a few tools, a metronome, a bagpipe tuner (still working on it), and then georeferenced tutor and band listings. I've had users visit from all continents except Antartica (come on guys). Who knew there were pipers all over the earth? The product is really aimed at helping new pipers get off the ground using the digital chanters but I hope it is a useful resource for more advanced players and bands.
