Build language fluency through daily journaling & practice

Language learning apps teach you words. Moti builds the habit of using them. Write daily journal entries in your target language and get instant corrections plus personalised vocabulary from your own writing. Moti focuses on the hardest part of language learning — consistent output — so progress feels natural, not forced.

I built Moti out of pure frustration with my own language learning setup 😅 I was already journaling but my “workflow” was a mess of writing in a text editor → copying to AI or translation tool → get corrections → paste back → manually highlight changes… and then never really revisit it. So I was writing, and I could see the benefits of it, but I wasn’t actually creating a learning loop. I wasn’t tracking vocab from my own thoughts, and I wasn’t consistently improving how I expressed things. At the same time, most language apps were teaching me words I’d never naturally use. I didn’t need more random vocab,I needed help saying what I actually wanted to say. That’s where Moti came from. It turns journaling into language practice: – You write naturally (even if it’s messy & you don't know a word in your target language) – You get gentle corrections – Vocabulary is pulled from your own entries – And over time, you can see how your writing evolves The goal isn’t to replace teachers or courses. It’s to make daily “output” feel easy and personal. Because journaling is already about your life… doing that in another language is incredibly powerful. Would love to know, what’s harder for you: learning new words, or actually using them?
