Hey Product Hunt community! 👋 We're thrilled to share our opensource tool with you today. What inspired us? Like many of you, we’ve spent countless hours brainstorming “million-dollar” SaaS ideas, only to hit a wall: “But does anyone actually have this problem?” The inspiration came from realizing that the best signals for real, urgent problems are already out in the open—buried in communities where people are actively seeking solutions. We looked at platforms like StackExchange (a goldmine of specific, painful questions) and thought: "What if we could systematically mine this need, and validate it before a single line of code is written?" What problem are we solving? The core problem is idea validation. Founders and builders waste time and energy on ideas based on gut feeling or trends, not on proven, aggregated demand. Our open-source platform automates the discovery of daily, validated SaaS opportunities by analyzing StackExchange data—questions, answers, views, popularity, and even sentiment—to surface problems people are actively trying to solve and are willing to discuss in detail. It turns noisy brainstorming into a data-driven signal. How did our approach evolve? We started as a simple script scraping a few keywords. But we quickly realized raw data wasn’t enough—it needed scoring, filtering, and context to be actionable. The project evolved from a personal tool into a full platform when we decided to open-source it. The community’s feedback helped us add layers like sentiment analysis, trend detection, and better validation metrics. The process became less about finding ideas for ourselves and more about building a transparent, community-driven engine that any builder can use, trust, and improve. Launching here is the next step in that evolution! We have actually migrated to a new repository on github and we will be updating that repo very fast in the coming days. We’d love for you to try it, contribute, or just share your thoughts. Happy building! 🚀
