Hey, I'm Andy
I have two young kids (3 and 4½) and bedtime was becoming a battle. I was intent on reducing their screen time, so I tried existing audio story options to help settle them, but they felt generic, full of ads, not educational, robotic... and my kids would tune out.
One evening, I experimented with ElevenLabs to create a personalised story for my eldest, weaving their name and favourite things into the narrative with high-quality AI narration. He was enthralled, hooked on hearing himself in the story.
Then my youngest heard it and yelled, "ME! ME! ME!".
That moment sparked earsy. I realised the technology is at a point now where audio narration sounds genuine, it just needed a way to be accessible to others without knowing all the latest in AI knowledge.
