Helios is our take on the AI assistant we wish Apple Intelligence felt like in day‑to‑day use. It’s a cross‑app AI that understands what you’re working on and helps you right where you are. It lives as an overlay you can use in any app (Mail, Slack, your browser, notes -- anything), so AI help is always just a shortcut away. Free to use with your own API keys, plus we give you free credits to get started!

I built Helios because I got so tired of constantly switching to the ChatGPT app or website every time I was writing emails, Slack messages, or just needed a quick proofread while working. It felt like such a disruption to my flow state.
Helios lives in your menu bar and works system-wide - highlight any text, hit a keyboard shortcut, and get AI assistance without leaving the app you're in. Anything from summarizing a text you are reading to polishing an email or fixing your grammar.
You can bring your own API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) or use our hosted option for a simpler setup.
