Learn languages the natural way

Most language apps start with words and rules. Prosody starts with sound. Prosody teaches languages the way your brain actually learns them — through rhythm, intonation, and natural speech flow. You train your ear first, absorb authentic native patterns, and only unlock meaning once the rhythm is internalized. The result? Less translating in your head. More real speaking confidence.

What do you think? …

Osama Al Duwairi
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m Osama, co-founder of Prosody. The idea for Prosody came from personal frustration. I could spend a lot of time learning a language and still struggle to understand native speech — it sounded nothing like what I expected. Speaking was just as difficult. Even simple interactions felt mentally blocked, and producing language in real time felt unnatural and effortful. Prosody is built around a research-backed vision: that rhythm, stress, and intonation are central to how language is processed and used in real life. These elements form the missing bridge between knowledge and real-world comprehension and expression. To support this, we designed a gamified, audio-first learning loop — listen, mimic, receive real-time feedback, and progress through levels. As prosody improves, meaning is gradually revealed through visual context, text, and translation, reinforcing understanding without overwhelming the learner. Our goal is to help learners develop an intuitive grasp of how a language sounds and flows, making both listening and speaking feel more natural over time. We’re excited to share Prosody and would love your feedback. What’s been the hardest part of using a language beyond studying it?
