How do you actually adjust your training when real life gets in the way?
by•
Most training plans assume perfect conditions: 8 hours of sleep, zero work stress, and great energy every single day.
Obviously, that’s not how real life works. Between crazy work schedules, poor sleep, or just general burnout, stick to a rigid weekly mileage target can sometimes do more harm than good.
When life gets crazy, how do you handle it? Do you drop the intensity and just jog easy miles, cut the distance in half, or take a full rest day?
Curious how everyone balances hitting their running goals without burning out when life gets busy.
