Waste your life wrestling with terminals—or build something that matters?

by•

Terminal releases are judged by what they add: AI panels, command palettes, faster rendering, more customization.

But what did they eliminate?

Do you still hunt through SSH config? Re-enter passwords? Rebuild remote sessions? Repeat the same command across servers? Switch tabs just to see whether an agent needs you?

If the repeated work is still there, did the terminal really make you faster—or did it just give you more terminal to manage?

My rule for xtty is simple: a terminal should be judged by what it removes from your day, not by what it can demonstrate.

What is the one piece of terminal work you are tired of repeating?
