Welcome to the Write Better Assistant forum
Hi everyone,
This is the first post in the Write Better Assistant forum.
I built Write Better Assistant to solve a simple writing problem: fixing text should not make you leave the page.
Most AI writing tools ask you to copy text, open another tab or sidebar, paste the text, rewrite it, copy it again, and paste it back. That works, but it slows down simple edits.
Write Better Assistant works differently.
Select text in a browser field, click an action from the floating toolbar, and the rewritten text replaces the original text right where you type.
You can use it to:
Fix spelling and grammar
Make text sound more professional
Make replies friendlier
Turn notes into emails
Shorten long text
Expand short text
Translate selected text
Turn rough ideas into better AI prompts
Change text case
Copy, cut, paste, and restore from local history
This forum is for questions, feedback, ideas, and real use cases.
Helpful posts can include:
What you tried
Where you used it
What worked well
What felt confusing
Which action you use most
Which feature you want next
Any writing problem you wish it solved better
A few honest notes:
Write Better Assistant works in most standard browser text fields.
It does not support Google Docs right now.
Selected text is sent only when you click an AI action.
Local History stays on your device.
If you are using it for Gmail, Slack, LinkedIn, Outlook on the web, Notion, ChatGPT, Reddit, X, or browser forms, I would love to hear how it fits into your workflow.
Thanks for being here.
What should we improve first?
