Blotter.js - A JavaScript API for unconventional text effects on the web.

byβ€’

When applying effects to text on the web, designers have traditionally been constrained to those provided by CSS. In the majority of cases this is entirely suitable – text is text right? Yet still, there exist numerous examples of designers combining CSS properties or gifs and images to create effects that evoke something more playful. Precisely here, Blotter exists to provide an alternative.

This is awesome, can't wait to experiment with it. Are you going to add more effects in the future, or should I just plan on using the existing ones?
The existing ones have a lot of configuration to be explored, but I do intend to add more and hope that other GLSL folks will contribute if they're into it.
You know it's good when you're paining yourself to find a good reason to use it.
Omg, awesome work buddy! This is just gorgeous! That's javascript hard work.
