Hello everyone 😍⛑️ My name is Max, I’m 25 years old and based in Sandnes, Norway. Together with my co-founder Hussein, I’m building Workara. After my previous exit in the tourism industry, I experienced firsthand how broken frontline hiring really is especially for people who have never hired before. Between high costs, outdated platforms, and overly complex systems, it simply doesn’t work the way it should. Having then also experienced the hiring perspective as a job seeker showed me how messed up the market really is... That’s when we decided it was time to change it. From day one, we were clear on one thing: we didn’t want to build just another general job platform. Instead, we’re building a marketplace for the people who truly keep the world running frontline workers. 🌍The ones out there every day. 🌍The ones creating real value. 🌍The ones who don’t sit behind desks all day. But also for the people hiring them. 🌍The site managers. 🌍The store owners. 🌍The team leads. The ones who just want to get the job done not become part-time recruiters. That’s who Workara is built for. We didn’t start Workara because we thought the world needed another recruitment platform. If anything that’s exactly the problem. Everything in hiring today, especially across Europe, feels like an add-on. Another layer. Another tool. Another subscription, another system companies are told to plug into an already messy stack… hoping it somehow fixes a fundamentally broken process. That’s not it honestly. And what’s even more surprising? Around 8 out of 10 jobs are deskless frontline roles in hospitality, retail, logistics, healthcare, construction the backbone of our society. Yet almost every modern hiring solution is built for HR teams hiring white-collar roles.
