Ai Work Expert - Independent guide to AI gig work and platform pay

AI Work Expert is an independent publishing and referral website for AI gig work: the remote, pay-per-task and contract roles that train and evaluate AI models. It tracks 820 open roles across 16 platforms (Mercor, micro1, Turing, Alignerr, DataAnnotation, Outlier and others), publishes the pay each listing advertises, and adds dated, sourced platform reviews, side-by-side comparisons, a glossary and interview guides. It also offers a free AI resume builder and a platform matcher.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Sachin, founder of AI Work Expert. AI labs pay experts to train and evaluate their models, and that work is scattered across a dozen or more platforms. Before you apply anywhere you have to answer three questions: is this platform legitimate, what does it really pay, and what is the interview like? Most of what’s online is unsourced or promotional. We built AI Work Expert because signing up on every platform just to find out was genuinely annoying. What it does today: Tracks 820 open AI-training roles across 16 platforms (Mercor, micro1, Turing, Alignerr, DataAnnotation, Outlier and more), with the pay each listing advertises Publishes dated, sourced platform reviews and side-by-side comparisons, checked against each platform’s own help pages Shows pay as the median of the low and high ends across hourly listings, so a few extreme rates can’t distort it Includes a free AI resume builder and a platform matcher We’re independent: we don’t hire or pay anyone, and we say plainly that we earn a referral fee on some applications, at no cost to you. Reviews are not paid for, and critical findings get published. It’s a side project from Beyond Labs, so we’re still improving it. I’d love your feedback on two things: which platform should we review next, and what would make you trust a review site like this more? Thanks for taking a look!
