VTT Editor Pro - Free subtitle editor. No ads, no tracking, one HTML

Thank you for trying VTT Editor Pro! 🎉 I created this because I was dissatisfied with the existing subtitle editors. The interface of Aegisub feels like it's from 2005, web-based editors are either paid or are full of ads and tracking; yet, there weren't really any simple tools that work offline without selling your data. My approach was straightforward. Pure javascript, one HTML file, zero dependencies. No sign up, no tracking, no cloud nonsense - just download it, and use it. The cool part is about color persistence in VTT – save and load colors directly in your subtitle files. No other editor does this simply, I wanted organization and flexibility combined in one simple tool. I focused primarily on making something that feels professional, yet is also very accessible - a timeline with a drag-and-drop interface, batch editing, resize handles with visual tooltips, snap-to-grid alignment - everything you want, - nothing that you don't. This is 100% forever free and open source on GitHub. I created it for creators, students, or for anyone fed up with bloated software.
