Hi Product Hunt, Maryam here again. VoyaLang first launched for students practicing IELTS writing on their own. The obvious next question was the people on the other side of those essays: teachers. A class that writes one Task 2 a week can take a whole evening to mark, and a lot of that time goes on articles, spelling, and word count before the teacher even reaches the ideas. So we built a teacher panel. You set a task for your class, and every essay comes back already scored on the four criteria with the corrections marked. You read it, and the grade is yours: change any band, and your number replaces ours everywhere your student sees it. You can follow how the class is doing week by week, and share anonymous results when a task is done. Privacy is the part we thought about the longest. Students see exactly what you will see before they join; you never see their email address or anything they wrote before joining, and they can leave whenever they want. It is free for teachers.
