VisualStyles - Explore 100+ visual styles through one apple.

I built VisualStyles because I wanted to understand visual styles better, but I kept running into the same problem: when looking at examples of different styles, almost everything changes at once — the subject, composition, colors, medium, and even the scene.

That makes it surprisingly hard to understand what actually makes one style different from another.

So I started with a simple idea:

**What if I kept the subject the same and changed only the visual style?**

I chose the simplest subject I could think of: an apple on a table.

From there, I started recreating the same apple across different visual languages. The collection gradually grew to more than 100 styles, ranging from classical and modern art to illustration, photography, graphic design, pixel art, 3D, and digital art.

While building it, I realized that simply browsing images wasn't enough, so I added a few ways to explore the collection:

* Compare two styles side by side
* Discover a random style
* Play a “Guess the Style” quiz
* Browse in both English and Chinese

What started as a small experiment became a visual reference I now use myself whenever I want to learn about or compare styles.
