VidDojo - Turn any video into a course that fights back

by
VidDojo turns any educational video into an interactive course in 60 seconds. AI splits it into chapters and asks questions inside the player. Get one wrong and a Rewind Portal replays the exact segment that explains it, then quizzes you before you can continue.

Hi hunters! I built VidDojo because I kept "watching" 30-minute tutorials and retaining nothing. Passive video is a terrible learning format: you nod along, close the tab, and a week later it's gone. So I made the player fight back. Paste a YouTube link and AI builds a course in about 60 seconds: chapters, checkpoints (quiz, flashcards, retell-in-your-own-words, diagrams you draw), and a final boss-fight. Get one wrong and a Rewind Portal opens: it replays the exact 20-second segment that explains what you missed, tells you what to listen for, and re-tests you at the end of the segment. You don't leave the portal until you prove you got it. Sure of an answer? Hold to seal it. Sealed-and-wrong triggers the deepest correction in the app, replaying the moment the truth is stated in the instructor's own voice. Confident errors are the ones worth fixing (hypercorrection effect). Before some chapters you commit a guess about what's coming, and at the exact second the video answers it your pinned guess flips: "you said X, the video said Y at 12:34" (pretesting effect). Coding videos end in a real in-browser editor where Jest tests must pass. Lectures and talks get an AI-graded final exam instead, so it works for any educational video. Free, no signup: 3 courses a month from videos up to 30 minutes. There's a gallery of ready-made courses to try in one click. I'd love to hear one thing: does rewind-on-miss feel like discipline or punishment to you?
