Verity - Turn invoices into clean, verified spreadsheets.

by
Verity turns digital-text PDF invoices into structured, reviewable data and clean Excel spreadsheets. It extracts key fields and line items, validates calculations and dates, lets you review and edit the results, and exports everything to XLSX. Alpha 0.1 is our first public testing release, built to learn from real-world invoice formats, uncover edge cases, and improve compatibility through user feedback.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Wilkner, the creator of Verity and founder of GearBound. I started building Verity around a simple frustration: extracting structured information from invoices shouldn't require manually copying fields and line items into spreadsheets. That idea became Verity — a tool that extracts invoice data from digital-text PDFs, validates important fields and calculations, lets you review and edit the result, and exports it to Excel. Alpha 0.1 is intentionally an early testing release. At this stage, I'm especially interested in seeing how Verity performs with real-world invoice formats beyond the ones I've used during development. If you try it and find an invoice it struggles with, an extraction error, or simply something you think could be better, I'd genuinely love to hear about it. This is also the first public product from GearBound, so launching it here is a pretty special milestone for me. ⚙️ Thanks for checking out Verity and being part of its beginning!

Invoice extraction is a practical problem, especially when formats vary so much between businesses. I like that Verity includes validation and human review rather than treating extraction as a fully hands-off process. I upvoted Verity.

 Thanks Nick! Really appreciate that.

The variation between invoice formats is exactly one of the challenges I want to explore with this alpha. Keeping validation and human review in the loop felt especially important because I'd rather have Verity surface uncertainty than pretend an extraction is always perfect.

Thanks for checking it out and for the upvote!
