If VedaCAD could add a web-based diff viewer for binary CAD files, that would be a game changer for our team. Right now we rely on external tools to see what actually changed between revisions, and it breaks the workflow. Having that built in would make code-style reviews of mechanical assets way more practical.

However, I want to clarify exactly where VedaCAD fits into the tech stack. VedaCAD is strictly a Package Manager and MDM for the CAD environment itself, not a PDM/PLM system for your project drawing files.
To use an analogy: we manage and distribute the factory machinery (your .lsp scripts, .dll plugins, .ctb plot styles, and .dwt templates), not the products (the .dwg mechanical assets) rolling off your assembly line. Because your actual project design files never touch our servers, building a diff viewer for them falls completely outside our architectural boundaries.
Even for the custom tools and scripts we do manage, we focus purely on deployment velocity and version control. To guarantee absolute intellectual property protection, we vault all your proprietary plugins 100% as-is (byte-for-byte). We don't parse, decompile, or peek into your binaries, so we don't generate code-level diffs for them either.
