Hi Product Hunt. I'm Kore, a solo developer, and Vaultis is the password manager I wanted for myself: one that never phones home. Most managers sync your most sensitive data to someone else's servers and ask you to trust them, usually for a monthly fee. Vaultis takes the opposite bet. Everything is encrypted on your device with your master password and stored only there. The app makes no network connections at all. No account, nothing in a cloud to breach, no subscription. A few things I care about: - Not just passwords. Pick a category (login, API key, card, bank, crypto wallet, SSH key, database, Wi-Fi, license, secure note) and the form adapts to it. - AES-256-GCM encryption, master password stretched with PBKDF2 before it becomes a key. - Encrypted backups you export and control, so on-device does not mean fragile. - $4.99 once, no subscription ever. Honest trade-off: because only your master password can open the vault, a forgotten one cannot be recovered. That is the point, and it is why encrypted backups exist. Live on Mac today, with iPhone and iPad landing shortly. Would love your feedback on the model and the category system. Ask me anything.
