I built ValorScore because "is this okay for my family?" is a real question with terrible answers online — either a vague age rating or a stranger's hot take with zero backing. I wanted the opposite: evidence you can check. ValorScore rates 27,000+ movies and series across 14 axes — the usual content ones (sex, violence, language, drugs) kept separate from a values reading (family, faith, virtue, and how a work handles certain themes). The core rule: any meaningful ideological flag is published ONLY with the cited evidence behind it. No evidence, no number. It's opinion-with-evidence, and I say so openly on the About page. Honest about what it is: I don't claim to be a neutral arbiter — I disclose my point of view and let you check the receipts. It analyzes the WORK, never the personal conduct of the people who made it. It's free, there's no paywall on scores, it's in 4 languages (PT/EN/ES/FR), and it shows you where to watch.
