Hi Product Hunt - Mario here, co-founder of Upstream.

When we first launched here, Upstream focused on one difficult problem: running reliable 24/7 YouTube streams without leaving a computer online.

Once the 24/7 foundation was reliable, customers naturally started asking us to use the same cloud infrastructure for more of their live workflow.

Today, Upstream lets you:

  • Produce browser based shows with guests in Live Studio, or use OBS or any other encoder

  • Send one feed across multiple streaming services

  • Schedule recorded videos, audios, stream overlays as live broadcasts

  • Run reliable 24/7 channels on YouTube, Twitch, Kick, TikTok, Instagram and 30+ other destinations

  • Automate stream operations through an API or MCP (currently in beta, feel free to reach out)

  • Self healing and health monitoring for all your servers

  • Combine any and all workflows - join live with your camera into your 24/7 stream at any moment, or launch a 3 hour live stream of your existing video library on YouTube and Twitch at the same time

  • Flatrate pricing - one stream covers all flows

It all works from one cloud workspace, and the free plan includes 24 streaming hours each month.

We're most proud of our customer support. When you contact Upstream, you reach a real person - not an AI support bot. Whatever question or problem you bring us, there’s a human being behind the interface.

I'd genuinely love your feedback: which of these workflows would save you the most time, and what still feels unnecessarily difficult about going live?

Finally something that handles scheduled loops and multistreaming without needing my laptop glued open. Set up a test channel in like 10 minutes and it just kept running while I was out.

congrats on the launch looks great, qq can we manage individual guest audio gain levels separately inside the live studio interface, or is it just a global track balance

Hey Vikram, thanks! Great question and yes - I take a lot of pride in that feature because I personally built that. You can either right click or press the three dots menu on any live studio participant and change individual audio levels.

The multistream angle is really useful for anyone juggling YouTube and Twitch at the same time. One thing that would make my life easier is built-in analytics showing viewer counts and chat activity across all destinations in a single dashboard, so I don't have to bounce between tabs to compare how a stream is performing on each platform.
