We're #SuperPumped today to announce the UberRUSH API, which is currently invite only! With the launch of UberRUSH in October, we set out to help local businesses improve delivery in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. Since then, thousands of businesses have already adopted UberRUSH through our online product and platform partners like Shopify, ChowNow, Clover, and delivery.com. Although we’re excited about how this product supports local businesses, we know that a lot of companies out there that rely on automated operations, have complex logistics networks or are in need of a more flexible solution that can fit their business and customers’ needs. With the UberRUSH API businesses big and small can now build on-demand delivery right into their existing infrastructure and apps. Here are some businesses that are using the UberRUSH API: Nordstrom, 1800flowers, T-Mobile, Google Express, SAP, Rent the Runway, Curbside, Operator, Olo, Noodles & Company, Which Wich, Eatstreet, Bergen Logistics, Trade Global, Cole Haan, and Rebecca Minkoff. This looks awesome and plugging right in to Shopify will certainly be a game changer. I'd be very curious to see how'd they handle shipping things like bikes!

@bentossell Great question! There's a form here: https://rush.uber.com/enterprise/ to request access. We'll be going through each submission so hang tight!
Nathan Lam
@chinaschau Yea! We're super excited about having Shopify as one of our partners. Any merchant on their platform in CHI, SF, and NYC can find UberRUSH as an option in their shippings setting. On a side note, I guess it really depends on how big your bike is and how much it weights :)

@whoisnatelam Excited to learn more about how operations would work with mobile/online food ordering services. Just filled out the request form for enterprise solutions. Anywhere I can find more info in the meantime?
Nathan Lam
@idrincwater It really depends how your mobile/online food ordering service works. As you can tell we have partners we've been working with that are all different in that industry. What app are you most similar to? That way I can get a better sense of how to best answer your question.
Loris Maz
This is so great! Is there a way to set the object size & weight and assign a driver with the corresponding car if the object is too big?
Nathan Lam
@lorismaz we currently do have size and weight limitations. Although we are working on an even smarter way to make this process a lot easier.
Loris Maz
@whoisnatelam cool thanks! Can't wait to try it out :)
Nathan Lam
@lorismaz make sure to apply for early access so we have you down :)

This is huge and IMO is really what Uber the company is about. It's last-mile logistics. I predict that transporting humans will in a few years be a much much smaller part of Uber's business. I would love to try this out, but I imagine you're looking for actual businesses with stuff to deliver than ppl who just want to hack. But hey, I've been excited about this for a long time - https://twitter.com/sammybauch/s...
Nathan Lam
@sammybauch That's awesome and I'm glad you feel the same way about delivery. We are super excited to bring the things people care about most, closer to them. You can apply for access to the API here actually: https://rush.uber.com/enterprise/ We'll be going through each submission, so stay tuned for updates.

This is huge! Excited for the possibilities this opens up to businesses needing better same day transport options of pretty much any kind of physical good. Keep it up!
Nathan Lam

Why no love for Seattle?
Nathan Lam
@abe238 we are always looking to expand so hang tight. We want to make sure we get things perfect in the cities where we are perfect first. Also I'm from Seattle so there's definitely love for the 206. Stay tuned and go Hawks!

Sounds exciting! Looking forward to integrate it for our 250,000 PrestaShop stores ;-)
Nathan Lam
@bruno42 Likewise! Excited to share this product with even more businesses!
