The925 - One AI connects company knowledge, tools and workflows.

by•
We’re building The925, an AI work assistant that connects company knowledge, tools and processes. Find source-backed answers, learn how your company works, prepare tasks and follow approved processes in one place. Workflow execution, AI-assisted process creation and operational records are built; the connected knowledge and action experience is being completed and validated.

Hi everyone, I’m Thisara, co-founder of The925. While building my first startup,, a consulting and digital transformation business, I kept seeing the same problem: companies had capable people and plenty of software, but employees still had to search for answers, ask colleagues how things worked and chase the next step. The information existed. People were doing the work of connecting it. We started by building workflow execution, AI-assisted process creation and operational records. Then we realised that employees should not need to understand our architecture to get something done. That changed how we organised the product: one AI assistant, with the company’s knowledge, tools and processes behind it. Think of taking over a client account. The experience we’re building would help you understand what was agreed, learn the team’s update process, prepare the client email and create follow-up work. Where approval is needed, the company’s process still applies. That is the idea behind The925: connect what the company knows with how its work actually gets completed. Learning belongs in the work, not in another disconnected tool. Our workflow foundation is built. We are completing connectors and validating the combined assistant experience, with BUOST providing an internal pilot environment. Hirishegan, Bosilu and I would love your feedback. Which everyday task makes you switch tools, ask around or chase someone before you can finish it?

Message from the Founder:

Hi everyone, I’m Thisara, co-founder of The925.

The idea for The925 came from something I kept seeing while building BUOST and working closely with businesses. Companies already had capable people, documents, processes and plenty of software. But employees were still spending far too much time figuring out where information lived, who to ask, which system to use and what should happen next.

We initially approached that problem by building structured workflows, approvals and operational records. As the product evolved, we realised the bigger opportunity was not asking employees to learn another system. It was giving them one intelligent place to start with what they actually want to accomplish.

That is what The925 has become.

We’re building a company-aware AI work platform that brings together your organisation’s knowledge, tools, people and processes. You can ask for what you need, get the relevant company context, create and analyse work, take supported actions across connected applications, or move through an approved company process without having to understand everything happening underneath.

The part I find most exciting is the connection between understanding and execution. If you are taking over a client, for example, you should not have to separately search old files, read meeting notes, figure out the team’s way of working, draft the update, create tasks and work out who needs to approve what. The system should understand the context and help you move the whole piece of work forward.

We have spent a lot of time thinking about how to make that experience feel simple while keeping permissions, approvals, records and real business state properly governed underneath.

We are still learning, refining and pushing the product forward, and I’d genuinely love feedback from this community.

What is one piece of work in your company that still requires you to search across tools, ask around, and manually connect everything before you can actually get it done?
