taskr - Locks your kid's apps until their chores are done
by•
taskr is a screen time and parental control app for iPhone and iPad. Set a chore with a deadline. If it's late, the apps you picked lock automatically. Your kid sends a photo of the finished chore, you approve it, and the apps unlock. It runs on Apple's Family Controls, so closing taskr doesn't lift the lock.

Hey, I'm Sebastian. I grew up with four siblings, so I've seen the chore argument from every side, and I'm a student building taskr because I wanted the phone to hold the line instead of a parent.
You set the chore and the deadline. If it's done on time, nothing happens. If it's late, the apps you picked lock on your kid's iPhone or iPad until they send a photo and you approve it. There are no points to track and no minutes to hand out.
It's been on the App Store for a while now and parents are using it every day. I read every support email myself, so tell me what's missing.
