🚀 Launching Tana Publish
Hey Hunters! đź‘‹
We’ve just launched Interactive Publish in Tana — a new way to share your notes, plans, and ideas as living knowledge, not static docs.
Check it out: https://youtu.be/DOtcu_rpHE8?si=xXpi-VCEgahwilCq
Until now, Publish let you share a page in a clean Article view. With today’s update, you can also share in Tana view, which preserves your outliner structure and lets readers:
🔍 Expand/collapse bullets to see just the detail they need
đź“‘ Zoom into any node to see it as its own page
🧠Navigate hierarchies with breadcrumbs
📊 Explore tables, lists, cards, and even embedded media
All without needing a Tana account.
Why this matters: most things we share — project briefs, PRDs, meeting notes — aren’t essays. They’re networked knowledge. Flattening them into documents strips away the connections that make them valuable. Publish lets you share your ideas in the same structure you use to think and work.
How people are already using Publish:
Project managers sharing plans where stakeholders drill down into relevant details
Team leads publishing meeting notes that capture both decisions and context
Researchers opening up knowledge graphs for exploration
Writers publishing essays in Article view but giving readers the option to explore the full outliner
This is one step toward Tana’s vision of a shared brain for individuals, teams, and AI — where connected knowledge compounds instead of getting lost in static files.
We’d love to hear how you’d use interactive Publish:
Would you share meeting notes, project plans, research maps… or something totally different?
