Tabnxt - The smartest Chrome tab manager now has AI Super Search 🧠

byβ€’
We completely redesigned Tabnxt to fix tab clutter forever. Introducing AI Super Search (⌘+K): a semantic search engine that understands your intent (e.g., search "food delivery" to surface Swiggy/Zomato tabs). We also added manual workspaces, direct saved session link editing, and a 100% Manifest V3 secure architecture.

Hey Product Hunt! πŸ‘‹ Sudeep here, maker of Tabnxt. A few weeks ago, we launched Tabnxt to help people escape "tab hell" by tracking RAM savings and offering proactive tab suspension. The feedback was incredible, but power users asked us for one thing: a faster way to navigate when they have 50+ tabs open. So, we went back to the drawing board and built AI Super Search (⌘ + K). Instead of just matching keywords, Super Search uses lightweight semantic intent clustering. Type "dining" or "flights" and it immediately pulls up your Zomato or MakeMyTrip tabs. Plus, typo-tolerance means you can type at lightning speed and still hit the right page. What we've polished in this update: 1. 🧠 AI Super Search (⌘+K) with 13-category semantic intent detection. 2. πŸ“ Manual Workspaces: New spaces start clean and empty so you can manually build your setups. 3. πŸ› οΈ Edit Saved Session Links: Quick modals to modify saved lists on the fly. 4. ⚑ Performance Boost: Rewrote analytics from scratch to comply with safety rules and keep RAM usage virtually at zero. We are offering a 7-Day Free Trial on the Pro Plan so you can test drive AI Super Search and Cloud Sync risk-free. I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and feature requests. What category intents should we add next? Happy hunting! πŸš€ β€” Sudeep

As someone with way too many tabs open at once, the RAM savings sound amazing. One thing that would make it perfect for me is a keyboard shortcut to instantly reopen the last suspended tab without digging through the popup, something like a quick "wake" command I can press mid-flow when I need to jump back.

Hey Yiğit! Thanks for the feedback!

We actually have this exact shortcut built directly into Tabnxt! You can press Cmd+Shift+R (on Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (on Windows/Linux) to instantly restore and wake your last suspended session/tabs mid-flow without having to open the popup or the dashboard at all.

Additionally, for individual suspended tabs that are still in your tab bar, Tabnxt will automatically unsuspend/wake them the millisecond you click on the tab.

I also love your idea of adding a quick wake command inside our ⌘+K Super Search command bar (e.g., typing > wake or > unsuspend last). We’re adding that to our upcoming release roadmap! Let me know if the shortcut helps your flow!

The AI workspace grouping actually works better than I expected, it caught related tabs I had open across a dozen windows. The popup dashboard feels snappy too, no lag like some heavier extensions I've tried.

the popup-first dashboard is a smart call, feels much faster than digging through chrome's own settings and the ai workspace grouping in 3s is honestly impressive.
