Searching across multiple clouds is harder than it should be

I've been adding a feature to Syncrix that I personally find extremely useful:

Global Search.

If you have Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, S3 and other cloud accounts connected, you shouldn't have to remember which service contains a particular file.

With Syncrix, you can search across your connected clouds from one place.

But the more interesting use case is finding large files.

For example, you might have:

Google Drive — 200 GB
Dropbox — 150 GB
OneDrive — 300 GB
S3 — 1 TB

Instead of opening each service and figuring out what's taking up space, you can search across them and identify the large files.

This can be useful when you want to:

• Clean up storage

• Find forgotten files

• Identify files worth archiving

• Find data that should be backed up

• Decide which cloud should store what

I'm increasingly thinking of Syncrix as more than just a sync tool.

The bigger idea is a single interface for managing data across all your clouds.
