This might be one of the simplest reasons for building Syncrix.
Once you start using multiple cloud providers, your files become scattered across different ecosystems.
Google Drive.
Dropbox.
OneDrive.
S3.
And eventually, finding something becomes a memory problem.
That's why Global Search is such an important part of Syncrix.
Instead of asking:
“Which cloud did I put this in?”
You can simply search.
One search → multiple clouds → one result view.
And once you've found the file, you can decide what happens next:
Keep it.
Move it.
Copy it.
Back it up.
Or discover that you already have another copy somewhere else.
I'm increasingly thinking about Syncrix less as a “sync tool” and more as a control layer for data spread across multiple clouds.
The storage providers can stay separate.
But your view of your data doesn't have to be.
