Hi, I’m Ever3st, the maker of Switchboard at Means. Switchboard brings saving gameplay replays, trimming clips, assembling montages, and preparing a share copy into one Windows app. Edits preserve the original recording, and exports can target the original size or 10, 25, or 50 MB. It’s a free Windows x64 alpha. The installer is currently unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. I’d like feedback on capture reliability and the editing workflow, especially what gets in the way of turning a recording into a clip worth sharing.

Quick Switchboard update: 0.9.21 fixes automatic chat capture when Windows uses separate game and communications outputs, such as Sonar Gaming and Sonar Chat. Chat capture now follows the Windows Communications output. If a selected chat device disconnects, Switchboard reports it unavailable instead of silently recording another output.

To record Discord separately, enable Settings > Capture > Audio > Record chat audio separately. If Discord has its own output selected, choose that same device under Chat device.
