I built Subjektiv because I reject the capitalistic philosophy of planned obsolescence and mimetic desires. I believe that we can live much more sustainably by clarifying our individual tastes and training our subjective judgment. We can do this by buying and living with unique art objects. After a decade in Investment banking, I dedicated myself fully to Subjektiv because I believe the world needs it. The process of building and delivering such a complex product is much more difficult than I expected; it's been a very treacherous journey so far, worsened by my almost lethal car accident. Yet, we are very close to offering the world a new lifestyle.
