Do habit trackers actually work for you, or do they eventually feel like a chore? šŸ¤”

Hey everyone! šŸ‘‹

Over the years, I've tried dozens of habit trackers, but I always hit a wall after a few weeks. I noticed a clear divide in the market:

1ļøāƒ£ The Minimalist Apps: They look beautiful and clean, but eventually, ticking off checkboxes feels like a boring spreadsheet. There is no long-term motivation. 2ļøāƒ£ The RPG Apps: Apps like Habitica are great for gamification, but the pixel-art and overwhelming features feel too cluttered for my professional, daily life.

I realized what I actually wanted: The dopamine hits of a game (XP, leveling up, unlockable badges) wrapped inside a premium, distraction-free minimalist UI.

Since I couldn't find it, I built it. It's called Streak Master, and we are launching here on Product Hunt on June 3rd! šŸš€

Before the launch, I’m really curious to hear from the maker community here: What is the #1 reason you end up abandoning a productivity app? Is it too much friction, bad design, or just a lack of motivation?

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! šŸ‘‡
