Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Mike Hoang, the maker of Stereochem. We built it because we wanted a molecule editor that just opens in a browser tab. Nothing to install, it works on whatever machine you're on, and it should feel good to use, not like something you put up with. Stereochem is a molecule editor that opens in a browser tab: • Sketch in 2D with wedge and hash bonds, then flip to 3D and read bond lengths, angles, and UFF energy • Paste a SMILES string and get a 3D model • Fetch a compound by name from PubChem • Build reaction schemes and save them as editable sheets • Import and export SMILES, MOL, SDF, XYZ, PDB, CML, and CJSON, plus images It's built on the open-source Avogadro chemistry libraries (RDKit assigns the R/S and E/Z labels). It's free and I'd love to hear which file format, shortcut, or workflow is missing for you.
