Steamboat - Real filings. Zero spin

by
Everyone's debating whether AI spending is a bubble, but most of that debate runs on opinion, not numbers. Steamboat pulls capex, free cash flow, and lease data straight from SEC filings for 29 AI infrastructure companies (hyperscalers, chipmakers, neoclouds, data center REITs, power utilities), turning it into one leverage score per company. Free tier covers 12 companies. Pro unlocks all 29, plus historical trends, alerts, and a tracker for the AI boom's actual financing deals.

Hey Product Hunt! Ok so a lot of us have been seeing this whole "AI bubble" and "AI boom" thing everywhere, right? Is it gonna crash, is it all hype, all this sort of craziness. Not gonna lie it got my heart pumping a bit, so I figured instead of just watching more takes about it, I'd go pull the real numbers myself and build something to actually see what's going on. Quick disclaimer before I go further: this is my first time actually building and shipping something like this. It started as a side project out of pure curiosity, honestly just to see how far I could take it, so go easy on me, but also please tell me what's broken or confusing. That's how Steamboat happened. It pulls straight from SEC filings, capex, free cash flow, lease commitments, for 29 companies across the AI infrastructure world, and turns it into one leverage score per company. No opinions, no vibes, just the filings. To be clear, this isn't investment advice and it's not me trying to predict a crash. I just wanted one clear answer to "how much of this is riding on debt vs. real cash flow," and now you can get that answer too. Free tier covers 12 companies. Pro unlocks the rest plus some fun deeper stuff, like a tracker for the actual named financing deals behind the AI boom (Meta's Beignet SPV, the Apollo/Blackstone Anthropic deal, that kind of thing). Would genuinely love your feedback, on the methodology, the build (solo project, Next.js/FastAPI), or anything else.
