Behind the build: how I automated a daily AI tools discovery pipeline as a solo founder
Launching on July 29th and wanted to share a bit about how StackPilot works under the hood while we count down...
The challenge: there are 10,000+ AI tools and new ones launch every day. Manual curation doesn't scale.
So I built an automated pipeline:
Agent 1 — Discovery (runs daily at 6am)
Scrapes RSS feeds from TechCrunch, VentureBeat, TNW → filters AI tool mentions → logs candidates to Google Sheets
Agent 2 — Research & Publish (runs daily at 9am)
Picks top candidate → Perplexity researches the tool → Claude AI writes the structured review → publishes directly to the site via Sanity CMS
Zero manual intervention. The site updates itself every day.
Built with: n8n (self-hosted), Claude AI, Perplexity, Sanity, Lovable.
Happy to answer questions about any part of the stack. What would you build differently? 🤔
