SOLIS - Build discipline with Stoic lessons, hard ordeals

by
SOLIS is a daily arena for discipline built on Stoic practice, ordeal, and reflection. Begin at dawn with a five‑minute reading from Aurelius, Seneca, or Epictetus, face a guided ordeal such as cold exposure or fasting, then close the day with an honest evening examen. Track virtues, log restraint, and train with a brotherhood for accountability. Start free with a daily meditation and examen, or unlock the full canon, audio narration, unlimited ordeals, and offline access.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Kartik. I built SOLIS because every "Stoic" app I tried did the same thing: show you a quote, ask you to journal, charge you $50 a year, and quietly skip the hard part. They sell the aesthetic of discipline. None of them actually made me more disciplined. I wanted the opposite — less flavor, more substance. So SOLIS is a 90-day structured course, not a quote feed: a daily rite of practice, ordeal, and reflection drawn from the men who learned to rule themselves before they ruled Rome. Streaks that mean something, and visible proof you're actually changing over the 90 days. I built the whole thing solo, with AI as my entire team, engineering, design, writing, art. The biggest lesson wasn't technical. It was that I could build forever and still not ship. Getting it into your hands, unfinished and honest, was the hardest part. So that's what this is. It's early, and I'd rather have your honest truth than polite claps: what's confusing, what's missing, what made you close it. Tell me straight 🙏 The beta is open on TestFlight, I read every reply.
