Would you use an app to meet other travelers during a long airport layover?

by

I'm building Sojyn, a travel-tech platform based on a simple observation: airports can contain thousands of people at the same time, yet travelers have almost no practical way to discover who around them might be worth meeting.

Sojyn matches travelers who will be at the same airport, on the same day, with overlapping availability, then considers shared interests, travel preferences and connection goals to help surface compatible people.

The idea isn't limited to dating. A connection might mean grabbing coffee, meeting another solo traveler, networking, sharing travel experiences, making a new friend, or simply having an interesting conversation before the next flight.

We've now built a working MVP, and I'm preparing for the next stage of testing and early user growth.

I'd particularly like feedback from this community:

If you had a 3–5 hour layover, would you use something like this? And what would make you feel comfortable enough to actually meet another traveler?
