SnapScreens: Bringing privacy and strategy back to ASO wireframing

by

Hi Product Hunt community 👋

I'm Riccardo, the developer behind SnapScreens.

A while ago, I was looking for an effective way to design and optimize my apps' App Store screenshots. While studying App Store Optimization (ASO), I quickly realized how crucial visual conversion rates are for organic growth.

Unfortunately, searching online for a proper tool, I found that almost all the existing screenshot generators had 2 major problems:

  1. They lacked real marketing logic: Most tools just offered random "pretty templates", completely ignoring the psychological conversion funnel (Hero layout, Feature lists, CTA flows) and keyword intent. Plus, web-based canvas tools felt sluggish and frequently crashed browser tabs during high-res exports.

  2. They were a privacy risk: They forced independent developers and agencies to upload unreleased, confidential app assets and pre-launch screenshots to third-party cloud servers.

Therefore, I decided to start working on my own native desktop application. A software built to bring raw computing power, total asset privacy, and strategic execution back to the professional workspace.

After over a year of hard work, intense development, and precious feedback from our private beta testers, we are officially launching SnapScreens here on Product Hunt next Tuesday, June 2nd!

It allows you to use local AI to prototype your ASO wireframe logic first, design on a smooth internal canvas with real 3D device framing, and enjoy fast 3x exports with zero cloud data risks.

Even though our main launch is a few days away, you can already check out our product page and website. If you're interested in being among the first to try it, hit the "Notify Me" button! To celebrate, we will also share an early adopter discount code (LAUNCH20) on launch day.

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts, early feedback, or questions in the comments below to help us prepare for the big day!

Thank you! 🙏
