Snapgrade - Capture handwritten marks from paper-tests via mobile phone

by

Snapgrade was build to help teachers get more from paper-tests, allowing them to get instant analysis within the app or to export via CSV for later import into their own online systems. Faster than recording and uploading marks using a spreadsheet. More accurate than manual data input. Meaningful analysis shows students strengths and next steps

Hi everyone, This app was built specifically for teachers, to aid them in the laborious task of getting their paper-test marks into either an online system directly, or to an Excel spreadsheet first and then uploading afterwards. We have utilised computer vision and deep learning to create an app where the teacher can simply point their mobile device at a test page, and the marks will be automatically captured and stored in the system. We believe this is faster, less prone to human error, and a lot less work than other methods! This means more time teaching, and less time wasted :) The app is completely free right now, and we currently support a bunch of SATs papers which we link to from our website. As time goes by we will support more and more papers, and incorporate paper building functionality to allow a teacher to capture marks from any test. Thanks for looking, James Humphreys Snapgrade
