Firewall and Adapter between the AI and your IDE and the freedom of choice

Are you comfortable to allow the AI to change everything in your code?
I was not. And I see the limits of AI-written code every day. I also see the fence: buy this model and you also buy that editor. The combo is the product. Your project is the guest.

I wanted the opposite. Keep the IDE I already trust. Keep the AI I want today or have a subscription already.
Put a desk between them - That desk is SMAC.

The AI never writes the disk.
You ask AI and copy the reply.
SMAC pastes it as reviewable blocks.
You preview. You accept into a Merged copy.
Only then do you promote it to Master and Save.
Adapter on the way in. Merger in the middle. Firewall at the door.

When the chat forgets last week s rules they all do the feature list is still on your machine. Pack the files back into the next prompt in one click. Same loop. Different model, if you feel like it.

SMAC - Merge AI code without letting the AI overwrite your app

SMAC is how you create or change an app with AI — without giving the AI your IDE. Pick any model & any editor. Grok, ChatGPT, Claude. Visual Studio, or whatever already holds the project. SMAC is the desk between them. The loop is the product: adapter (clipboard in), merger (preview, accept into MERGED), firewall (you promote, then Save — the AI never writes disk), feature list (rules the next chat must obey), packer (files back to the chat in one paste). Freedom of pair. Custody of the Master.
